On a snowy day while Nathaniel was working from home he noticed something odd outside his apartment window. There was a stray cat scratching at his window, asking to come in…and who can blame him, it was freezing outside. He immediately recognized the cat as Chunk Chunk, one of the members of a nearby stray cat colony.
Knowing that Chunk Chunk was probably having the worse time of his life, he knew he had to do something. Nathaniel wasn’t a very big fan of cats, but his fiancée Renee, volunteers her time to help keep the local community cats safe. He couldn’t leave this kitty out in the bitter snow storm so he allowed the shivering cat in so he could warm up. He was worried that he wouldn’t get along with the dog so they kept him safe in the bathroom. A week later he is still with them and has even had a visit to the vet to make sure all is well. The cat and dog seem to be getting along because it has been decided that this will be Chunk CHunk’s furrever home!
Still further proof that cats choose their humans. When a cat adopts you, you have no say in the matter. You’ve been Chosen, and you can do nothing but accept that you will now be the provider of Whiskers and scooper of kitty litter for the rest of your days.
