A kind-hearted woman rescued this stray who’s eye looks a bit peculiar. Little did she know how much this cat would change her life furrever!
Meet Stella the store kitty!
Stella’s eyes are quite unique because of a condition called heterochromia iridum. Despite the appearance, Stella is very healthy with excellent eyesight.
The tabby cat was found covered in burrs about two years ago at the foot of the escarpment rummaging through garbage, looking for some food scraps. Her fur was severly matted and she was just skin and bones.
Kat Von G rescued her and took her into her shop and proceeded to feed her and clean her up.
Stella has stuck around every since than and actually began helping around the store!
“I believe she’s a Maine Coon and Persian mix, since Persians have copper eyes like that. The eye functions perfectly and close to the iris you can see speckles of the natural green peeking through” – Tory_Rox
Stella loves to greet customers that enter the store. “Everyone (including myself) always assumes she’s blind in that eye, but it’s just a mismatched coloration.” – Tory_Rox
“She doesn’t have a meow so much as a squack. She follows me around all day yelling at me, I call her my supervisor,” Tory_Rox shared.
“A lot of people stop by the shop every day just to say hello to Stella.” That’s super good for business.
She’s the employee of the month!
Not only did Stella find a loving home, but she’s now got a full-time job she loves and meets new friendly people every day!
