Have a rough day? This video, uploaded by the channel “The Kits Cats” around a decade ago is circulating online once more, with people sending it to their friends who’d been having problems, especially with the onslaught of stress brought about by the pandemic.
Commenter Megan Bailey asked if the cats had names, and the uploader responded, “Of course! 4 boys and 2 girls, they were adopted in pairs (Mischa & Emi, Persephone & Darius, Monkey & Thunder), we kept Monkey & Thunder and all are doing well.” They had also mentioned in another comment that these kittens were born from a rescued pregnant cat.
The video received overwhelmingly positive responses in the comments section, and some even said that it helped them during particularly tough times in their lives. Some even “shared” the video to their own felines, commenter E de Montfort said, “Adorable. I’m holding the phone next to my cat so he can hear the purring and he’s loving it and rubbing his face all over the phone. Now he’s purring! This is a great tool for newly anxious cats because it’s soothing. Therapeutic for me, too!”
And as mentioned before, people have been helping their human friends by sending the video. Commenter MinaOmega stated, “A friend of mine was having a hard time going to sleep, so I sent this to her. Seems a great way to get the day’s worries off your mind.”
The channel even uploaded a more recent video showcasing Monkey and Thunder enjoying a box for themselves, as a birthday treat. What a purr-fect time!
