Some people think that “weird” is a negative word, but more and more people are realizing that the word is taking on a more positive role in society’s use of the English language, especially when pertaining to our pets.
This Twitter account collects anonymous submissions of cat photos, specifically for photos of them being adorable and weird at the same time. So far, they have around 800 or so posted submissions, and here are our favorites:

When you’re as small as a cat, you tend to be able to use stuff like socks as your very own cozy blanket. Better than a blanket, even, as it covers you all around and doesn’t roll off.

All of us have definitely heard someone say something so stupid that you can’t help but wish you could somehow show the emotion of “???” in real life. This cat manages to show perfectly what that looks like.

This cat seems to have a dream in life–to become a plot of land that plants grow on. Isn’t that the most eco-friendly dream job you’ve heard of in a while? The feline friend just wants to save the Earth.

That’s certainly one way to ask to get washed. Perhaps the cat had seen the owner wash the clothes that come from that basket and took it as a cue.
