While common in the Eastern part of the world, Oriental cats are generally rare in other regions, and thus cost rather expensive. However, one lucky Reddit user living in the Netherlands saw one while on a walk outside. They said that they have seen it before and that they know that it lived in their friend’s neighborhood.
Cats in Europe are generally required to be chipped, so as to not lose them to people taking them off the streets and reselling them, especially in the case of rare breeds like this one. Even in places like the United States, there is a trend of people stealing cats (and dogs) to be either bait for ransom or even thrown to breeding mills and animal fighting groups.
This cat looks as majestic as its name implies. It blends well into perhaps a royal court of some sort, complete with fiddle-playing in the background.
