PICTURE: Cat Immediate Finds Comfy Spot In New Couch

When a new piece of furniture is purchased, it can be sometimes hard to get used to the new fabric, or find a position you can relaxingly binge Netflix with.

Fortunately, though, cats don’t seem to have a problem finding it at all. They just know it when they see it. And that is apparent whenever there is a new big box in a cat owner’s house. It’s quite adorable, really, even if it meant you can’t pack up the box as soon as possible. It will take hours before they leave that spot.

For this cat, their ideal nesting place is in between the pillows and the headrest. Odd that may seem, but it seems to be getting the job done. It might be a warning to the owners as well, for they should from here on avoid slouching without looking back to check if the cat was there, lest they squish the poor thing.

Wherever the origins of this phenomenon may be, it has certainly been useful, though not against attackers. People who have owned cats always look at these odd hiding places in wonder as to why the cats seem to love this type of place. Nevertheless, they certainly look great doing that, and the owners will always love them no matter what.

There have been many theories in the past about what type of hiding places carts like, but one thing is for sure, they enjoy places where they’re only barely hidden, and they could see whatever might be attacking them. It is a skill that may have been innate from before they were even domesticated.

Several people reacted to the adorable pictures, offering their own reactions to just how adorable the picture was.

Hopefully, they meant the word “interesting” as a compliment.
