We’ve seen quite a few unique animal friendships between felines and other animals but this one is truely something else. Take a look at the unlikely friendship between an African lion, a Bengal tiger, and an American black bear living together in peace and harmony. Lions and Tigers and Bears oh my!
Leo the lion, Shere Khan the tiger, and Baloo the bear have spent the last 15 years as best friends at Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter in Georgia. Known as the BLT these adorable animals were rescued in 2001 from the basement of a house in Atlanta during a police drug raid. They were locked and hidden in a basement with terrible conditions, and Baloo had to have surgery to remove an ingrown harness due to it not being adjusted as he grew. That was the only time the trio of best friends have ever been separated and they’ve spent their entire lives together ever since.

They will continue to spend their lives here because they were too injured to be rehabilitated for return to the wild
But they seem quite content together at the sancutary!

These animals in the wild would come from three different continents and would never have a chance to meet like this otherwise
Despite their various differences, these guys get along like brothers and are completely inseparable
