A Reddit user posed this question, and many other users chipped in with their thoughts.
The realistic answer is what this user replied with. It seems like in every cat-owning household, hair ties always either go missing or go into the cat’s lair.
Apparently, this user’s cat is very interested in their car key. Maybe he wanted to go on a drive alone, to a mysterious paradise full of catnip and scratching posts.
This user believed that cats will utilize the pocket space for extra food. Smart!
Someone figured that maybe once they get pockets, they will evolve to have a grooming style similar to kangaroos.
Or perhaps they would be carrying carcasses of other species?
Maybe they will bring home a gift after a “short” trip all the way to Mordor…
Did this user’s cat break into a museum? Those are rather interesting objects to be together in one go.
While this hypothetical pocket evolution may never happen soon, it is quite fun to think about what are the possible objects that cats would deem important enough to put into pockets.
