For those of you who are tired of your cat using your dog as a bed, or stealing your dog’s bed, now they can have a real life-sized dog scratch post to annoy. Erik Stehmann is the Netherlands-based designer behind this creation. It’s the perfect scratch post for any cat to relieve some stress. The scratching post is named DOG, and sells for €649, with a smaller variant called PUP, which is €349.
Made of sisal and polyester, DOG comes in either ivory or black and stands over 2′ tall.
DOG weighs about 30 lbs (PUP weighs 17.5 lbs) so even if your cat pounces on them, they won’t fall over.
In a very time-consuming process, every inch of the rope is glued to the base, resulting in a durable and long-lasting scratching post.
