Many stories have been told about how people’s cats tend to prefer the less favorable option when eating, drinking, or resting. This cat is a great example, as it seems to have latched onto the idea that water spilled onto a table is better than water prepared in a bowl.
According to the owner, the cat was given many options on consuming water but always tends towards table water and toilet water. They tried every other type of bowl available and it simply didn’t work.
One astute person suggested flavored water, which is more commonly available for dogs, but cats could probably use them as well.
Hopefully, the owner finds a way to get the cat some clean water that it likes. Dehydration can be quite a danger for their feline friend.
