When we get something new, it tends to give us serotonin, which helps make us happy. This is part of the reason why many develop shopping addictions. This only worsened with the advent of online shopping, as you could get that serotonin chase with just a few clicks, rather than walking to the store.
This cat seems to capture that feeling well, as their owner had noticed. He looks really happy about the new toy that their owner got them, and they look adorable for it. The excitement here hopefully translates to the toy actually being used, as opposed to just sitting in the boxes again. Though interestingly, cats have a valid reason for preferring boxes, and this is because it offers them the advantage of being able to hide, as well as them being able to chase away any threat that would come into their field of vision.
Nevertheless, it looks like the cat might have a good chance of using the toy, after all. And hopefully, they receive more toys from their owner. Get them more of that serotonin high.
