r/CatsWithJobs is a subreddit dedicated to people who want to share cats that seem to have acquired jobs and duties in society, even if only in appearance. Some include feline musicians, guards, and car techs, among others.
Kevin Bacon, a greeter at a local vet
User u/Satinsbestfriend shares their local vet’s cat named Kevin Bacon after a famous figure. He had appeared to take a liking to greeting the people and other animals that came to their local vet, which is sorely needed in times as dire as when a family has to take their pet to the vet. According to the poster, the cat also has a bobtail, and also added in a comment that “He likes to randomly bite at your hand, then go back to purring and wanting pets. He’s not orange enough to have only one brain cell so,[sic] may even he’s just odd”

u/ScouringForPuns, who presumably have a predisposition for music themselves, has shared a photo of their cat, who appears to be “playing the piano” much like their owner. Maybe Pangur will be the one to write the next great musical? We’ll find out.

A cat owned by u/Spiritual_Stranger1 seems to be in fixing the two-ton machines humans bring to their own work. No matter how hard or dangerous toying with the electricity and gasoline that underlies fixing a car, Vela appears to be unfazed by it all.
