It took three days before it trusted its rescuer, and another two for the rescuer to catch him. Upon the rescuer investigating, they found out that it was someone’s cat whose been missing for a month. The owners lived around 30 minutes away from the rescuer.

The people in the comments began outpouring their support and were talking about how nice it must have been for the reunion to happen. This comes especially as it is rather common for cats to go missing and not be found for decades, or ever.

Someone shared a story about how they found a cat of someone who lived 12 miles away! That must have been a terrifying experience, but they probably let out a sigh of relief when their cat was found.

Others shared stories about their own missing felines and how they were returned.

The poster even shared the message correspondence she had with the cat’s owner, and they had a theory as to how it probably got lost.

It’s a really great thing that despite humanity turning more hostile as a whole, there are still pockets of kindness around the world. Humanity could really use some kindness these days, as we all try to catch up in this capitalistic fast-paced world.
