Just like human babies, kittens sometimes need to be trained to not chew on other things, especially small objects. So some (fur) parents resort to giving them pacifiers. This is a good method, and luckily humans, along with most cats, grow out of it soon enough.
But this cat, named Cash, didn’t, and so sometimes he would still carry the pacifier around like an oversized kitten. According to the owner, it was a helpful tool as pacifiers have a very malleable plastic since it is designed for soft teeth. It satisfied the urge of the cat to chew on things. Luckily, it didn’t have much of an effect on the growth of his teeth.
