Cats love patterns, especially the more unique ones. This cat seems to have slowly but surely fallen in love with the carpet that’s in its owner’s living room. The owner shared the photos on Reddit, and it’s an adorable love story for sure.
According to the owner, the cat treats the rug as if it was his bed. They got the rug from a trip to Kashmir and were in for a surprise when they brought it back, as the cat fell in love with it and used it as their bed.
It must be quite the cathartic experience to relax with your cat on a fancy-looking rug. And even better as they supported the local weavers, too.
Another comment complimented how the rug truly fit the rest of the room, and besides being the cat’s new bed, it is also aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, human or feline.
The owner brought up how since the rug was handmade, it was probably the softest thing the cat felt besides its own fur. No wonder it loved the rug so dearly. A commenter said that the cat probably interpreted the rug as a gift to him specifically, and not just a furniture purchase for the house.
