This poor cat’s life was rough, living on the street. He has gone through a lot, shot with an airgun, and abused and beaten.
The rescuers found him thanks to a woman who had spotted him on the streets and posted it on Facebook asking for help.
The rescuers went to the village to find the cat.
They were able to find Chochi, they named him after the village. The poor cat was hurting, but even though he was abused, he still had faith left in humanity. The cat immediately came to the rescuers after they arrived.
They decided to bring him to the vet. He was very calm while being in the car and traveling to the clinic.
He was examined, and there was an air gun pellet found in his body. They also found out that his ears were burned by the sun and he had an infection. A surgery was definitely needed to remove the air gun pellet and to remove the top part of his ears to prevent developing ear cancer. They had to leave the cat for a few days.
They came back to get Chochi since it has been already a few days after the surgery. They’re hopeful that the result will be fine and that Chochi improved.
Good news! The cat looked much better. He has gone through a lot and suffered through all of his life… He could finally live a good life and feel safe. 🙂
