Human life is hard and it’s rough out there. But thankfully for many of us, our pets are part of what calms us down on a daily basis, so here are some tweets about what cats do to help their owners’ day, or make it even more chaotic.
Hoppity hop
Was having a pretty bad morning but then I went to pet my cat and she did a little hop to meet my hand halfway so it’s all good now

This cat knew how to make its owner’s day, certainly. It must be adorable and calming to feel this after a particularly long and rough day.
Orange
orange cats seem to think they are in a video game where death isn't real

There seems to be a particular sentiment online that orange cats are simply agents of primordial chaos with no concept of death, and that may actually be true. Many of the comments seem to be in agreement. Some are even referencing the recent game “Stray” which does feature an orange cat.

Nothing more relaxing than a cat taking a selfie and posting it on social media. I hope they’re getting all the likes they deserved.
Water, please!
watching a cat decide they’re thirsty and get up and go drink some water is one of the most beautiful & delicate experiences we have in life

Sometimes even the simplest of experiences are the most calm and help the most. It’s a great thing that we’re given this chance, so as to be able to de-stress from the daily stressful lives that may consume us.
Comfort
Did I recently get ghosted really fucking hard? Yes. Did I also wake up with 2 cats on top of me? Yes. My transformation I to cat lady is complete.

Getting ghosted is one of the worst experiences that one can experience online, and rarely can we ever tell our friends. This owner seems to have their own personal comfoorts in the face of their cats. How sweet.
