Without a doubt one of the most majestic cat breeds that have ever existed are Maine Coon Cats. With their luscious fluffy fur, beautiful physique, and unique character traits these guys are one of the most beloved cats around the world. Fully grown Maine cats are truly magnificent, but wait until you see them when they are tiny kittens!

Although this big cat breed’s history of origin is unknown, it’s believed their ancestors most likely came with the ships of 11th-century Norsemen. Full grown, these floofs can weigh up to 18 lb (8.2 kg) and reach a body length of 48 in (120 cm). Maine coons with their shaggy coats and huge paws make them perfectly suited for cold weather climate. These wonderful felines are not your typical lap cats – Maine Coons are super affectionate and easy to train.
